Brighton & Hove Russian Choir contributes to Red Earth's
CHALK
CHALK is an artistic exploation of the ecology and archaeology of the South Downs through a series of events taking place at Harting Down, north of Chichester, and Wolstonbury Hill, north of Brighton. Performances - involving Brighton & Hove Russian Choir - will bring together voices from the South Downs and the Russian Steppe, joined by Mongolian Longsong from Badamkhorol Sandandamba and the traditional early wind instruments of Dirk Campbell.
Red Earth invites you to become collaborators with the land: walking it, navigating it, building, singing and performing it, leading to new encounters with the natural world and the forces that shape it.
